What Prendimi in cura da te aims to do is give voice to those curatorial projects that for whatever reason did not have the chance to come to fruition: Superfluo offers them the opportunity ‘to be’; becoming something else. The unfinished, the unmade, the impossible are some of the key words given as impetus; as search engines to connect to the fledgeling concepts of the presented projects. This is done so that these ideas can develop into hypotheses to test and research, even if they are not resolved. The curators invited by Caterina Benbegnù and Nicola Genovese will have the chance to take on the challenge, for one evening, of being able to bring about the realisation of their utopian projects. The curators Francesco Ragazzi and Francesco Urbano will present Dreaming Drive Inn for the occasion. Their passion for urban settings and for the streets finds its ideal setting in the multi-storey car park of the Superfluo Project. The vision of a drive-in materialises amongst the parking spaces of the first floor of the building. In the temporarily reconfigured space, some episodes of the audio-visual production of the two curators are shown, imparting visible stimuli for collective contemplation. On the ground floor there is a sheet of paper for collecting ideas inspired by the surrounding environment. A photographic reportage, interrupted every so often by some unexpected rendering, leads us, by means of the internet, to a reinterpretation of the landscape. Dreaming Drive Inn then, becomes the hallmark of a study deprived of any viable chance of actualisation.
